Around 6:30am on Wednesday, December 19th, a driver hit two pedestrians near Anne Darling Elementary school. One woman was sent to the hospital, suffering life-threatening injuries.
At the corner of 33rd Street and Berrywood Drive, a dark colored sedan crashed into the two women who were walking within the crosswalk. After the accident, both women were rushed to a local hospital, sustaining significant injuries. One woman is suffering from life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained non life-threatening injuries.
This is the third collision involving pedestrians to occur since Saturday. The other two accidents resulted in fatal injuries. The police are currently searching for the driver of the dark sedan vehicle that crashed into the two women.
